Opal white GT with type 1 matt stripe.

i have a detailed guide on it ill just find it....

jack car up.
remove wheel.
remove tyre.
place in dishwasher.
add car pro trix to the dishwasher.
allow to run half cycle.
remove alloy.
lightly mist alloy with car pro trix.
place in dishwasher for remainder of the wash cycle.
remove alloy when done.
replace tyre.
add tyre shine to tyre.
place alloy back on car.
start with the next one!

methinks a 65-70C wash could knacker the rubber! I can imagine all the professional detailers would do it if it was possible :eusa-think:

My washer has a separate temperature control, so that wouldn't be a problem.

My local BMW-dealer actually has one of those which does the job nicely.

But it's a bit costly to get one...

Ref TomC's link. How many wheels would you have to wash to make that machine pay? :shock: Comparing it to a domestic dishwasher we'd be missing the brushes and unfortunately there's no mention of a temperature control.... :eusa-think:

Surely... once you have removed the wheels from your car, the hard work is done. Easy access to clean the wheel to your hearts content. No need to upset the wife any more than necessary :lol:

With the wheel vertical you could still get some plates in to one side. Job's a good'un, two birds, one stone and all that...and you'd be rewarded for multi tasking :grin:

I've only got a slim line dishwasher so mine would have to be vertical!
