Afternoon all,

Took delivery yesterday and thought i'd post some first impressions of my new toy (GT THP 200) :D

Likes:
- Has to be the most striking car on the road at the moment. It was parked outside the front doors of the dealership for me and i was just blown away when i first saw it.
- Interior design is nice. Lots of new gadgets to get the hang of.
- Love that new car smell ;)
- Standard stereo sounds good to my untrained ear. Am happy i didn't splash out on the JBL pack. USB stick played first time for me.
- Handles really well but still manages to ride the speed bumps & (numerous) potholes of Glasgow better than my traded in Alfa GT
- Vision pack: So much better illumination than the Alfa and the directonal lighting is cool
- View out the back window is sooo much better than the Alfa (which was like a letterbox)

Gripes:
- Some of the interior plastics lower down are not the best quality
- What's with the fuse box taking out half of the (small) glovebox
- Wing mirrors are huuuge.

Only done a few miles so far but am delighted with my purchase & am looking forward to rolling up the miles...heres some pics ( i hope...never done this before):

Welcome glappin and congratulations.

I think the RCZ is one of those cars that looks great in any colour. You can try comparing colours from photographs on websites, but when you actually see the real thing you tend to fall in love with it no matter what colour it is.

No 2D photo can recreate the feeling you get from being in the prescence of the real thing.

Welcome glappin and your new toy sure looks lovely

I'm surprised that one of your gripes is that the wing mirrors are too big. All the better for looking at those rear haunches in them - one of my all time favourite views.

Congrats, glappin and many happy and safe miles together  . Looks gorgeous. I saw a dolphin blue when I was out for my test drive (in an amber red) and have to agree that in the flesh they are ALL gorgeous colours. As for the wing mirrors, I love them as, like RCZ1 says, they give a great view of those big haunches  , and the cooled glove box is just big enough to hold a snack or two, not that I've used it yet  .

Thanks for the welcome messages everyone. I guess calling the big wing mirrors a gripe is a wee bit strong. Just a bit of a shock coming from the Alfa that had tiny mirrors that reminded me of Shrek's ears

Have to agree....the view of the rear haunches is very cool!

Gary.
