New owner advice.

Ok picked up the new RCZ yesterday, totaly chuffed, i've been playing with the sackfull of toys and theres a few things i'm a bit unsure about.
Any advice appreciated.

1. Can the NG4 sat nav be set for "home". So for instance no matter where you may be, you can click "home" and it will set a route home without the need to put in your address.

2. Can your speed be displayed on the NG4 sat nav

3. Should the windows self close if the doors are locked from the outside.

4. Where is the "anchor hook" under the car that needs removing after delivery. ( this has probably been sorted by the dealer but i would like to make sure)

5 I've noticed that under the rear wheel arches there is not a plastic protection cover, it is a fibre type of cover, are all the RCZ's like this ?

That's enough for the moment. There will be more questions soon probably , sorry. :D

What a car this is, i'm still trying to get used to people staring, it is a little embarrassing, i took it down to my mothers today for a spin, when she saw it she knocked on two of her neighbours doors to come out for a look !!

I had 3 pensioners on sticks and pace makers drooling over the car and all getting far too excited for their age.

1. Sort of, you can save upto 4000 destinations to an address book (pg 209/210 in your handbook) if you do dont call it "home" setting any sat nav with a "home" address is a bad idea...e.g your out....some criminal nicks your keys gets in your car clicks "home" and is guided straight to your house which they have keys for, with the added bonus that they know you arent there! The system always recalls the last 20 addresses anyway.

2. No , the digital speed display in rcz is placed on the display between the dials.

3. Rcz's dont do that

4. Dunno - can find out and let you know

5.Yes..it acts as an archliner but also offers better road noise suppression

"some criminal nicks your keys gets in your car clicks "home" and is guided straight to your house..." or, as in my case, your mate sneakily manages to re-set you "home" address to "Canal Street - Manchester" and you dont realise that you are half way up the M56 going the wrong way.

Thank you 0058RON,
The wife has just had her first drive in it, she wouldnt let me go with her because i would of been a bag of nerves , i was on pins for the whole time she was out .
"be back in 10 mins" she said !!!

HOUR LATER Mrs H walks through the door grinning like the cat who got the cream. :D
No need to worry though, all was cool, but i may have a little walk around it later when she's gone to bed. :eusa-whistle:

I think the "anchor hook" you refer to is the hook at the back of the car on the passenger side, on the inner side of the tyre, so to speak. If you peer through the spokes on your wheels, you should see it, if it's not been removed. It's a triangular shape of metal with a hole in the bottom of it.

Hope this helps.
