new 18'' wheels and winter tyres

Just had a black set of 18'' wheels with winter tyres fitted. Ready to replace the 19s for winter. I've tried to submit a picture but it keeps failing! Also anyone who is looking at replacing the 19'' tyres, instead of fitting 235/40/19. Slap 245/40/19 on instead. More choice of tyres available and obviously cheaper. It makes no difference to the ride or handling.

So what were the rim dimensions and tyre size of your 18"s? Might give other people an idea if they fancy doing the same........

8x18 wheels, 5x108 ET27 65.1 fitted with 235/40/18.

Have a look at tyreleader.co.uk I use them for all my tyres, cars, van, motorcycles.

I got them in all black but it appears on the website now they only have gun metal and silver. I will fit mine between December and april. We get bad snow and it stays for days.

Ive done it for years with cars. Two sets of wheels. Nice ones for spring, summer, autumn, and winter wheels and tyres for winter! :crazy:

I've got 225/40 R18 on my winter tires

245/40/19 ready to go on after the 20th April. It does not snow after then where I am !
