My wife has taken delivery of an RCZ Asphalt :)

So, had a great trip up to Milton Keynes today to collect my wife's new car. Marcus did a great deal on his own demo Asphalt which as most of you know has been meticulously documented on this forum already from when he took delivery of it late last year. The car, as expected, is in great condition and according to my wife (Magica) has a lot more firepower than her old Vauxhall (sorry 2 year old) Corsa 1.4. She ably showed me her quad exausts when she over took me on the way home via the M4!. One thing to note as I was following her, it was starting to get dark and it was strange seeing no normal light reflections coming off of the RCZ as she drove under the streetlamps, seemed strange not seeing my headlights reflecting off of the back of the car! We pulled into a road near our home and she pulled in behind another grey RCZ, non-Asphalt, but I know she was just itching to try and pull alongside

I haven't driven the car as yet but I understand I have a ten minute slot available to me tomorrow  so will provide some more feedback then but I am sure my better half will be along shortly to give you her thoughts

I know Marcus has posted many pics of his car in other posts, and I will hopefully get some decent ones of our own tomorrow night as it was too dark to take any when we got home, but here are a few taken outside Perry's

Thanks again for all your help Marcus

Sounds all very exciting but the pictures aren't there, just a hint that they could have been. Poor poor Marcus, he did like that car

I can't see pics either.

But what Is Magica thinking? You should NEVER let the other half drive your beloved RCZ. My husband Has never driven mine, and that's after 15 months of ownership.

She is very pleased RCZ1  , she had Bonnie Tyler's 'Holding out for a hero' pumping out of her JBLs on the way home, fortunately I was in my own car in front so couldn't here it lol, but needless to say and rather appropriately she had a big Cheshire cat grin across her face most of the way home !

Yep, I can see your baby now. Nowt wrong with a bit of Bonnie either. I do think that these cars of ours are seriously sexy looking. My love of this car has not diminished one bit. The Rcz Syndrome was named by me and suffered by me and long may it last. Congrats Magica on your purchase, but I do feel for Marcus too. I believe that he was rather fond of that car that you now drive.

Thank you OO58RON!!! Yes we saw Marcus today at the dealership in MK, and I think he was indeed sad to say goodbye to his beloved Asphalt bless his heart. However....... he now has another RCZ in his sights, which he obviously has plans for in terms of changing and bettering (is that possible I ask myself!!) so I do not think he will be downhearted for long :eusa-think: x

Stiff upper lip and all that Ron....

C'est La Vie as they say

Only kidding...Magica has promised to look after the Asphalt properly so it's time to move on to my 5th RCZ :D

Marcus, your plans for another RCZ sound interesting. Look forward to seeing what turns up.

Sadly as its a demonstrator I can't play with the oily bits so I'm off to raid the accessories catalogue, the parts manager loves it when I get a new demo :D

Dark and moody is going to be the look for the new one.

No tyre dressing Jassy as it contains waxes/silica gel which can splash on the paintwork, I have been given the complete low down from Marcus on how to look after the matt finish on this beast. Magica and I are happy to be able to keep this example on the forum

I am in total agreement Jassy - I have been extremely lucky in acquiring my Asphalt and am looking forward to a long and happy driving experience (not withstanding the Bonnie Tyler input!). As for the teccy bits including tyre dressing you'll need to refer to my Senior Automotive Technician aka hubby :eusa-whistle: x

Looks even better and perhaps happier now it's in REAL ownership I think :)

The poor Ash always knew she was going to be replaced.

Or am I imagining our cars have feelings?
