you get 3 screen options with the Sat Nav, 2D 2.5D & 3D... I find running with the 2.5 the easiest and the moment. I think 3D will be great in towns/citys when you have landmarks, but out in the counrty the 3D seems rather flat and 2.5 easier to look at.
One thing i would add is that the Sat Nav looks amazing in night mode!
Thanks for info. My 407Sw has the 2.5 and I have to agree it it very affective, I live in Manchester so 3D could be good around there.
