Just took rczr for mot needs new front discs and pads £2000 ouch

Did it fail for those discs? Your C hooks are still visible. They don't look too bad.

£2000 for front discs and pads is far too much.

Peugeot Parts Direct are current £720 for the discs. There are various choices of brake pads. You can get cheap ones for £60 and performance pads start around £120.

My fear will be you will likely need the pistons replaced in the calipers. They all corrode.

Peugeot Parts Direct are current £720 for the discs. There are various choices of brake pads. You can get cheap ones for £60 and performance pads start around £120.

My fear will be you will likely need the pistons replaced in the calipers. They all corrode.

Thanks for your reply Kerr took photo ove disc this morning after mot car has only done 31000 miles previous owner told me discs were replaced under warranty before Igot it 3years ago will replace pistons also will look at Peugeot parts direct I only use the car one day a week as I have a2014 hdi which has 101000 miles on clock and has given me no problems at all but I wanted an rczr

I took mine to ATS , for pair of discs and pads , was fed up of paying Peugeot ridiculous prices.less than £400

I just took my RCZ in for its MOT, I was expecting a fail as i've never managed to get the tyres done due to work commitments, Tyres passed but car failed, 2 cracked Alloys! £1000 later with new alloys travelling half the globe to get to me, which is still £800 less than Peugeot quoted me. Guarantee it'll be brakes for me next year!

Hi Kerr the problem isn’t ware it’s because the discs tend to warp
