Hi guys, my deflector/spoiler used to work fine when I first got it. Now it doesn't work and the button doesn't light up at all.

I've now tried the following things:
1. Checked the maxi fuse which was okay.
2. Replaced the push switch.
3. Wound the spoiler down manually hoping it might reset and work again (which it didn't).

I've had my scanner on it, and it's coming up with the following fault:

_DEFL_PAN_MOBIL code U3F3B.

But my scanner can't give me any more details. Anyone else have any thoughts as I'm struggling to get any further with this?

Thanks in advance.

This problem with the rear spoiler is driving me crazy. I bought another motor for it because I'm basically just trying everything now. When I first fitted the motor the light actually came on again on the button, and it let me clear the faults with my scanner. but I wasn't sure if the motor was working or not. In the end I stuck an allen key in the motor and turned it, both fully open and fully closed, and then the button isn't lighting or doing anything again. And now its showing faults again that I can't clear, and the fault codes don't actually tell me anything, just 'Refer to your owners manual', which is pretty damn useless.

I'm sure at one point the spoiler came to the fully out position, but I'm not sure if that was by me pressing the button or not.

I'm really not sure where to go with this now, has anyone else had this level of bugger aboutery with this stupid thing?

Any ideas gratefully received.

I've tried to BSI reset a couple of times now. Assuming I've got it right it hasn't made a jot of difference.

Regards
Trev.

I really don't have a clue. When I've unplugged the motor and tested it with a meter there seems to be voltage there, but because I have no idea what each pin does it's pretty hard to know what's going on.
