Misfire and Engine Temp Sensor

Hey all,

Well, my RCZ is currently in for a fix.

I started to get a really awful misfire, and an engine warning light. Stopped the car, waited and started again and it cleared.

Then it began to go into limp mode, lot's of rev's, no power.

THEN I got the dreaded Engine temperature warning…..all the usual symptoms. Needle into the red, then the STOP warning, then just settled back down, but the fan was trying to lift the car off the road it was going so fast….

So, in she went.

2 day's of diagnostics reveal;

Misfire caused by faulty/cracked high speed fuel pump. Engine Temp Sensors faulty, but we all know about that.

I've already had a new cylinder head, and coolant thingy replaced.

I hope it's not going to get any worse from here on in as I love my little car.

VERY pleased to have extended my warranty.
