Love the car, hate the engine,
Had the engine warning light come on again, plugged in my Carly device, came up with P0087, High pressure fuel circuit, pressure too low, and P1062, Variable valve lift system.
So, had a new high and low pressure fuel pumps changed 2yrs ago (20k) the high pressure pump cost me £600, could this have failed again? or maybe fuel filter?
Then only a couple of months ago, had new VVT solenoid and ECU fitted, and seems that my fuel economy has cone down.
I have sent this info to my garage and will see him tomorrow, but really starting to loose faith in the car, I don't have loads of money to keep throwing at it and would love to do more longer trips in it but worry the car won't get me home.
it looks so good, I look after all the servicing myself and wash it is kept so clean all year.
