Lambswool OR Microfibre

My pure lambswool wash mitt is now past its best days, so I was thinking of trying a microfibre wash mitt for a change :eusa-think:

I do use a microfibre mitt on the alloys, but have always used a pure lambswool on the paint work,with great results, so not sure if I should go for a change :crazy:

Looking at reviews/opinions on detailing sites it's a 50/50 call, but the overall impression I got was that the lambswool mitt is safer on paintwork, ie, less chance of swirls or scratch's :eusa-think:

The Carpro wash mitt is THE softest mitt I've used and it keeps that way for a long time.

So K, would you recommend lambs wool over microfibre for the paint work :eusa-think:

Even though I fancy trying something different like a good quality microfibre mitt, I think that I still sway towards a wool mitt.

I'd always use a lambswool mitt too. I can't comment on how the one i use compares with the Carpro one, which looks blooming good, but this is the one that I use now and I love it. REALLY soft and thick.

Always lambs wool on the paint for me

I think microfibre ones tend to leave bits behind sometimes.

yes you are right the microfibre once leave small tiny bits behind. they seem to get stuck with static. They get attracted to the car and thye will remain stuck sort of. It mostly happen when the cloth is new, but time it will stop sheding tiny bits behind I use a micro fibre sponge its good not bad its like a pillow with small tentacles https://www.google.com.mt/search?q=moth ... That is what I use on the alloys. But I'm going to stick with the pure Lambs wool mitt for the paint work. :thumbup:
