KDS Detailing

Hi All,

I'm very happy with the work KDS did with my new RCZ using the Gtechniq product, the photo's do not do it justice. The paint looks like glass and even my 62 year old mother who I expected to say "It doesn't look any different" wants to get her new 208 done when she gets it.
The paint feels so smooth, other customers in the workshop said that the RCZ is a stunning looking car and looks even better after the detail.
They also treated all the leather at no extra, bonus

Some people may think it's a waste of money but for me it was money well spent...

Anyway, here's 3 pics -

•Wheel arches cleaned
•Wheels cleaned using alloy wheel cleaner
•Extra fine clay bar used to remove bonded contaminates from paintwork
•Vehicle re-washed and dried
•Single stage paint correction using finishing polishes (machine applied)
•Vehicle wiped down with a isopropal alcohol (panel wipe) to make sure surfaces are clean
•Paintwork prepped with a pre-wax cleanser to support wax/sealant bonding
•Pre-selected wax/sealant is applied
•Door shuts waxed for added protection
•Wheel sealed to prevent excessive brake dust
•Interior cleaned and vacuumed
•Interior plastics dressed to finish of your choice
•Door seals and rubbers cleaned and protected
•Interior glass cleaned
•Tyres cleaned and dressed with a long lasting tyre gel
•Exterior plastics dressed
•Stainless steel/chrome cleaned and polished
•Final inspection to make sure your car meets our high standards

Cheers all..

Paul....

Looks stunning from the photos! Like what RCZ1 said...got to maintain it...which I find going to be difficult.

I am actually considering another route. Paint Coating.

http://www.honjyomalaysia.com/

I have sent one of my old car for the coating, while I am really impressed with the coating, I am not entirely happy with their detailing work. That is why my RCZ still not yet done by them.

Water and stain don't stay easily on the surface, and very easy to clean. The best part is...it last! They have warranty of 3 years.

Any comment on paint coating method?

Kkrcz - the paint coating is again a sealant. In essence the same as what Paul has had done to his RCZ, only they used Gtechniq sealant. Sealants all do the same thing but some, like this one you mention, last quite a bit longer, than some others. Gtechniq C1 is guaranteed for up to 5 years.

If you are not happy with their detailing then don't do it. The preparation of the paint before they put the coating on is the most important part. If its not done properly then they will be sealing over the water marks, swirls, etc. Are you able to buy their coating and apply it yourself?

My question would have to be..... Is this a written warranty? What would have to happen/not happen in order for you to return the car with a claim on the warranty?
