As my mechanic forgot to replace air filter at the last service I decided to order a K & N filter.

Some say that they notice a difference in performance but I can't say I've felt any difference but maybe early days whilst the ECU re-reads perameters.

One thing that I can hear (although quite subtly) is a lovely chirp from the turbo which has not been noticeable on standard filter.

However on fitting the new filter,I spotted a 'rip' in the turbo intake pipe just where the clip nearest the turbo is fastened.

I've silicone sealed the gap which was over the collar to the turbo, pending replacement -whether that will or has materially affected the performance I don't know!

The repair seems to be holding -I don't know if this was already there as Peugeot have had most of the engine in bits more than once!

First thing I did was to install a K&N filter on my RCZ THP200. They do breath better. If not performance, then fuel economy.

I've had K&N filters in all my cars. With the French Tart (207cc Sport THP150), I have fitted also. Any my turbo air feed pipe has also cracked. Due to constant removal for oil filter changes and being tightened to much. Replaced mine last year.

Yes, that would have made a difference, in air metering.
