Yeah still young with a lot learn and not everyone is Vin diesel or Mad Max driving around in a Too fast Too Furious EVOVIII or a interceptor. You need to understand not everyone wants what you think they should have ie the Rcz R ,no doubt a good car ,buts it's not the best nowhere close ,as you seem to preach

If the RCZR becomes popular maybe this forum will give it a sub forum where you can brain wash each other into thinking its the next best thing to the Nissan GTR

Sounds good to me. But we wont aim that low, we will go straight for the Veyron!

Ok poes

The above post was made by Jassy last night. I reported the post and before mods could view it, he changed the post. Unfortunately for him, I already responded on the post quoting his vulgar statement.

The response I got from Evilderboy was that I was wasting his time miss-using the report button as he needed to investigate every report. Doesn't seem like a lot of investigating went into that report. Thanks! Good to know that this forum allows for language like that.

Jassy, it takes a very special type of person to use a word like that on a public forum that is accessed by woman and children. If you don't understand the rules of engagement when getting involved in debates like this, rather stay out of them.

Well I thought I knew every naughty word going but I had to Google that one.
However, it does seem like you set out to push people on some posts Max. And Jassy can too I know. ..so please chill yourself :)
By your own admission you are young, and I was very argumentative too way back when. But picking up on every comment you don't agree with and trying to debate it to death then complaining when it gets out of hand is a bit of a silly way to do things.

Chill, enjoy debate and banter and have fun

It meant nothing to me and I just assumed it to be another jassy typo. I thought that you two just had that sort of relationship, were you are only happy when you're bickering

Honestly, Max, I'm inclined to agree with Ron regarding this being a typo. I, personally, did not see that this had been reported but would probably have ignored it too as it appears to be a typo which, by your own admission, was quickly corrected and amended. This would have led me to the natural assumption that it was accidentally posted, particularly as Jassy has previously stated that he has had difficulties in posting using his HTC handset )which he is restricted to using to access the site at present). The allegation of it being an inflammatory and abusive post seems unfounded as the word in question is completely obscure and one that I have never encountered anywhere. In fact, it was only revealed through urban dictionary which, in all honesty, is a somewhat unreliable source and filled with all manner of obscure slang terms that are assigned meanings by Joe Public at their own discretion. I would suggest that it's merely coincidental that it has an slang meaning in Afrikaans which is what I assume you are affronted by.

Max, I have stated in the past that your posts are often somewhat confrontational. You have stated quite publicly that you are trying to push Jassy's buttons. I find it somewhat strange that you are then astounded by the fallout.

You are clearly passionate and enthusiastic about the RCZ and you have a useful technical knowledge that could be of great benefit to other members. However, you simply cannot continue to deliberately antagonise and goad other members in the manner that you have done so previously. It creates a somewhat negative atmosphere for other members. We must take into consideration the majority of other users.

Now, I would have sent this to you via PM but I would suggest (given your original post) that this would be published publicly anyway so I decided against it in order to provide accountability and in the interests of openness. I trust you will understand this.

Max, we are the same age as one another and I am every bit as passionate about the RCZ and a great deal of other things besides. However, meaningful discussing cannot be borne out of emotional responses designed to antagonise other participants. I suspect that you realise this and can only hope that you elect to be more measured in future interactions.

I'd no idea what the word means. Given that this is a UK forum and so not one that recognises Afrikaans, then Max, you may want to drop me or one of the mod's a PM rather than just hit the report function. Your message about translation was lost one me as I assumed you were talking about another one of Jassy's typos.

I also concur with Mrizzle's statements about your conduct. That said, Jassy is out of order on this occasion.

If the two of you can't play nice, then you'll need to go play somewhere else.

2 minutes, 2 BLOODY MINUTES I'm gone and it's handbags again.
Just glad I'm not involved, (makes a change I hear you say).
Yeaah Yeah, what ever..........We cant talk BHP and Polish every day now can we :eusa-whistle:

Anyway, I admit I do swear a bit, especially lately, (I got good reason), and I've been know to chip away to get a response, (all in good fun though) but please could someone point me to the offending word, cos I cant see diddly squat that is offending.

Maybe I'm getting old and new offending words are passing me by.
I reckon we should all agree to to stick to good old fashioned swearing and name calling.

Jactac signing off.

Its not so much the word itself in my opinion. Its that fact that Jassy came right out and called him a derogatory term out of context with what seemed like a normal debate.

I took it that jassy was calling Max a poser in retaliation for the veyron remark and as is normal for jassy, his spelling was off :eusa-think: The bickering is amusing as it's like listening an old married couple. You know the type.... You can call your missus everything from a pig to a sow but woe be told anybody else that does. But to report jassy is a bit like telling sir, that jassy is calling you a names. Very school days behaviour

I've said it multiple times, if he comes on here and bash the RCZ just because he has nothing else to do, I will respond accordingly. I will also respond without getting personal or calling names as i.m.h.o. that is the only time when you step over the line of debate on an internet forum. If he comes on here and make up random statements about how bad the RCZ is that is based on no proper fact, why would it be wrong to defend the car. Is the not the RCZ forum?

I don't think you completely grasp the full meaning of the term... sorry you feel someone can break the rules and then get away with it. Like I said, if you cant take part in a debate without getting personal, don't take part in the debate.

Oh, mrizzle, I've said it to you a few times now and you can check all my posts. The way I respond to jassy's posts is the way I respond to all posts. I don't know of another way to respond to make my posts sound less confronting. I can maybe try and start all my responses with "Dear John".

I do not. know what the word would mean in South Africa, but here in the UK, it has no meaning. it isn't a word, hence my thought that it was another jassy typo

There will be no more. I suggest you both go and calm down for the next few days. In the meantime this thread will be locked.
