Well, it's confirmed, I take delivery of my RCZ GT HDi on Monday (15th Nov) and I've got to be honest, I can't bloody wait!!

I've been floating around the forum ever since I had my test drive a couple of weeks ago.

Every thread and post I read it's just makes me worse, even to the point where I've had to start wearing special underware.

I travel around 35,000 miles per your throughout the UK so I'll be keeping my eyes open for you guys.

Soon as I get chance I will take some pics and get them on here.

Is it Monday yet?...............................

Yay! Great news   :happy-wavemulticolor: :happy-wavemulticolor:

It only gets worse the closer it gets - I didn't sleep the night before I got mine - actually I didn't sleep the night I got it either. I wanted to sleep in the car! You are right - it brings back that Christmas feeling you get as a wee kid :D

Going to watch a small boxing match tonight to take my mind off it.

Is it Monday yet?.............

On a down side, had to empty and clean my old car today as it goes back on Monday.

Tapped it on the roof and said "It's time for you to look after someone else now pal", bloody hell Beef, get a grip!

As the others have said, the time will go ssssssssssssssssssssssooooooooooooooo sssslllllllloooooooowwwwwwwwwwwllllllyyyyyyyyy :!:

Its always sad saying goodbye to your old car, especially when it has served you well but as soon as you get in the RCZ, you won't give it a second thought.

Enjoy the handover Monday and don't forget those pics

Car was delivered to my office today and I've just racked up my first 50 miles getting home.

My jaw is aching like mad! Due to grinning like someone posessed the whole 50 miles.

Will this side effect wear off as I'm starting to look like the Joker from Batman.

To those reading this waiting for delivery of your car, it's WELL worth whatever wait you have to put up with.

As soon as the weekend is here I'll give it a clean an post some pics.

Just going outside to do some more grinning.

Yes Beef, I can officially diagnose RCZitis  You are showing all the symptoms and I would recommend a course of foot to the floor medication for the next 3 years at least

Enjoy and happy motoring

Well, finished my first week with my RCZ and ready to enjoy my first weekend.

The new car has been an absolute joy!.

With the dark nights and me starting work early and finishing late I've not been able to clean my new little baby so it's kinda dirty so the first job today (weather permitting) is to give it some TLC.

I've already had a first with my RCZ, I parked in a super market car park (am i the only one who tries to park in an area away from the rest of the crowd due to mindless door swingers?), I bought what I needed and trundled back to my car only to be stopped in my tracks by a guy saying "Thats a lovely car mate", he then mentioned the styling and how it stands out from anything else on the road. I've never been complimented on any of my cars by an complete stranger. It was a great feeling.

One of my worse comments came from a friend who said "I thought you would have opted for something a little more masculine" , I didn't know wether to throw him the keys or throw him a right hook!. To be fair he has now come around to the fact he was talking from his a@#, funnily enough just after sitting in it and seeing how it performed on the road.

Anywhooo, like I said, if the weather is kind to me today I will give it a clean and post some pics.

All the best guys and gals,

Beef

Curiously enough, someone looking over my Freddie commented that it looked very butch and masculine  . Isn't it funny how much we humans differ (and a good thing, too :D ). Enjoy the detailing and your lovely toy  .

No you are displaying a perfectly normal symptom of RCZitis! Last week I parked my car right in the corner of a car park, next to the path AND some plonker parked on the path about 5 inches away from my passenger door -ARRRRRRRRRRRGH!!!!!!!!!

2mins after I got into my new RCZ - we were in the petrol station next to the dealers and the salesman was filling up Flash's tank some oik in a beat up, souped up Corsa yelled 'F*ck me! Is that a peugeot?'

Enjoy your RCZ! :D
