I've just finished tastefully(I hope) modifying my TVR and Corsa VXR, but the time has come for a new project...... I've pretty much
Spent the last month deciding what car to buy, and thank god I went and test drove a 200 tph RCZ, wow, So after reading around 400 odd posts on this forum (and what a forum this is) the hunt was on. Talk about lucky......!!!POW!!!.... Found exactly what I wanted in 3 days. Black 200tph with 11,000 on the clock .1 neg ,no vision..... However I did want the full grey leather including dash. So small minus really as I fit HIDS and such accessories for a living. I've messaged Steve at rcz performance for a juicy order and was hoping to ring you buddy as I've been really busy of late but I think you only do sales through mail. P.m. Me for my number Steve if I can order over the phone. If not I'll try and compile the order this weekend , thanks. Gonna try and post a couple of pics now , fingers crossed. I'll put a couple of my tvr and vxr on so you can see the sort of standard I'm going to hopefully take the RCZ too. And of course a couple of my new beast. So hello to everyone and Thankyou RCZ1 for the amount of effort you pour into this forum ( been reading many many of your posts obi wan );0)

What do u think to this little seat mod ?
Looks classy through the tinted windows , nice and subtle. Metal Peugeot badges with lions head, I've wrapped the edge in a 3M matte black so they stand out on the grey leather , wouldn't be needed on black though. Car in tomorrow for the wheels to be done in a new black chrome with clear powder coat . Seen a sample set and they are awesome . Will post pics on thurs when I get her back ......... Need splitters/quads/drl's/eyebrows ...... RCZ performance here I come

First mod.... , pretty sure I'm the first For this one (very subtle) hardly noticeable outside

Just washed her before she's machined and glasscoated (ceramic coating) and not one stone chip , yippee

Just glasscoated an R8 ..... So the RCZ paint will look like this soon

Wow. When You gonna return my Pearl2 back to her former glory? Loving your work and determination. Read 400 posts :crazy: RCZ1 is an absolute gem and a lovely person to boot :clap: I shall be very interested in watching the transformation of your latest project. Anyway Lainey gorgeous looking cars you've got with great attention to detail. Is that your own unit ? A great place to have .

Maybe we could have a detailing meet at yours one day ?

What was the ceramic coating you use out of interest?

The RCZ I'm sure will look superb and look forward to seeing more photos :thumbup:

Thanks everyone, lovely warm welcome :wave: , gonna have some great fun with this car I can see it now , it is indeed an occasion every time I get in her like most members have said :thumbup: . Hey there obiRCZ1kenobi :beer: it is indeed my own unit, we do lots of modding down here , vehicle wraps / tinting/ leather repairs / carbon interiors etc etc might struggle for a meet here as we're so damn busy all the time :crazy: but I'll defo be coming to all the meets this neck of the woods :dance: that liquid glasscoat ceramic you've asked about is a product we do down here , it's won paint protection of the year for three years running now , toughest coating there is for you paint my friend. Unlike supagards/diamond brights and guard X's etc etc it's not a polymer coating, so mild solvents such as TFR won't strip it off . it's an incredible product and we're very fortunate to be an authorised agent, we're the only non dealership to have authority to use it (mainly because we do a lot of very nice cars so they use our gallery to promote the product through Europe ) good for us because you'll never see anyone but dealers with access to it :beer: .... Mitsubishi / Renault / grey Paul are among the few places who offer it. I have a gallery of around 200 of the best cars we've done here. I can post a selection for everyone if you fancy a little something different to look at sometime. We've had some incredible machinery down here including an Optimus prime type American truck lol
Hey Ron , them badges are a metal shield with the lions head and mane in the centre and the word Peugeot above , nice and weighty, got them off the bay , bout. £15 boys each mind you :shock: but they've got a "limited edition" look to em on the back of the seats. I'll take some decent pics when I get the car back ......... Whoop whoop she's in for the smoke chrome wheels at "the wheel specialist" in Nottingham today , my god the wheel they held up to my car looked like the paint was wet :dance: ..... It's a black chrome they use and powder coat it clear , they look show car finish . I'll post some piccies when I get her back on thurs. they are a franchise so all the members can get access to one in there area if they so choose.
Right gotta split, been promising Steve at rcz performance I'll get my order in tonight ....... Quads here I come TTFN

Some seriously impressive motors there dude. Love the rims on the VXR Corsa. However, they'd be misshapen within a day on the roads up here!! That glass coating on the R8 looks blooming marvellous!! Like Figo, can't wait to see what you do to the RCZ!! I like the head rest badges but wonder how comfortable they are. They add a Lambo look to the trim though!!

Is it G3 Glasscoat? Do you happen to be on Detailing World? There's a company on there that posts a lot of G3 Glasscoat details.

Hey there Mrizzle :thumbup: cheers my friend. It is a little harsh I must admit although I did use an eibach kit so was better than slamming it on cheapies lol, even on a smooth road though the corsa vxr is no handler at high speed, it's too tall and the chassis is just ok . But for a city squirter it's unbeatable ..... It truly defines the word "pocket rocket " had a lot of fun with this " I'll have that space ta :lol: " car. Oh yeah ,and the badges are on the back of the seats my friend :thumbup:
Yeah it is G3 obiwan , but I don't think we're on detailing world , unless someone's put us on there !!! Bonus if they have lol

I saw them on the back of the seats and had assumed that you had perhaps done the same of the front. My bad for being so presumptuous!! So...any teasers as to what else you plan to do to the RCZ? You mentioned splitters, quads etc. Anything in particular taking your fancy? Will the latter be a full set up?

Well Mrizzel , I've currently got her at the wheel specialist today and she's having the smoke chrome powdercoat to the wheels I'll put a pic on , I'm just about to order the eyebrows / quad feline / drl's / ruffer splitters and she's in for a front windows 50% tint on Monday + a machine polish and G3 glasscoat , so all being well (and Steve having stock) it'll be transformed this time next week ;0)
