Hey!

I am sorry if this topic had already been discussed.

Has any one opened the lights casings and painted the crome in a different color?

I am loking to have a black look to the lights but im i dont want to compromise the lighning power, any suggestions?

Thanks!

Second that , it's sealed a lot tighter than conventional lights , we've "de tangoed" a Subaru P1's headlights and it was a nightmare on elm street , buy some eyebrows from rcz performance , they look mean as hell. Do a utube search for what we did and you'll find lots of bids of people doing the light splitting , it's messy , and I guarantee you'll get fogging in cold weather after. Sorry for the bad news . I'll post you a pic when my brows are fitted next week ;0)

Hey thanks for quick answers :D really appreachated (dont know the spelling :D ).

Time for plan b, can the dark look headlights in the facelift be fitted to the old? Bumper aswell needed likely since the dimensions look different in the pictures. And likely a fortune at the dealer. Too new for scrapyard :D .

Rcz performance or anybody else do you know a tuning company that makes swap headlights? No luck at ebay

I hope i will be able to contribute in the future not just post a huge amount of questions....

Regards,

Just do what Abz (another member) did and get them 'fly eyed' (a kind of wrap which let's light through but makes the lights look dark).

Ill be doing this when spare headlights become alot cheaper. I have done it before on my old 206s with no problems, but dont want to risk ruining my lights.

Like previously said, you could fly eye your lights to make them darker.

Heres a pic of mine.

Regards,

I do not know of anyone doing what you are wanting to do. This type of mod is done by those that can reseal them correctly and stand behind that in the event they leak. But these places usually do batches of them and this is based upon demand too. So doubtful anyone will pick this up but you never know.

Yes use the eyebrows and spi-vision (upgrade of fly-eye) to get the right result.
