Hopes and aspirations

So - what hopes, plans and aspirations do we all have for 2013?
Any new year resolutions? Big wedding plans? Engagements? Starting a family?
For me 2013 will be a year to look after me. I've sorted my daughter and helped her move. She starts a new job next year so she can spoil me now!
To just go out in the car and drive but have no idea where I'm going - I love doing that
I aim to spend more time with the new boyfriend and have a few more holidays and relax. The last six months have just been spent in a blur - I literally haven't stopped since the end of August.
And hopefully staying in my job - redundancies planned in January. Our sister company in Rotterdam is due to close at the end of March and they have all been given notice.
Most of all and so important to me - spend special time with the family.

Bownib, you sound just like me - I love to get in the car and just drive with no inclination of where I will end up. OH thinks I'm mad but I love it

Hope all goes well with the new boyfriend. I think you deserve a bit of happiness in 2013 and hopefully your job will be safe too.

Once again, family will play a big part in my life in 2013. We'll wait and see what it has to throw at us in that department.
I recently turned down a promotion due to on-going health issues with my Mum. I reduced my hours a bit this year to be able to spend more time with her and enjoy what we can whilst we have chance.

I hope to get back into my photography again in 2013. It took rather a back seat this year due to time restraints but the monthly photo competitions have helped me to regenerate my interest. Obviously car detailing will still be on-going as I find it very therapeutic and helps me to forget everything for the time that I'm doing it.

Oh and a new car might be on my drive at some point in 2013, we shall see
Not forgetting another Yorkshire Meet, if not more

Well I've a wedding on 7th November a stag nite in Prague September time. Giving myself plenty on time to recover :mrgreen: , I know how u feel about work there was a shift cut at mine which had me sweating for a while but all's good now and looking forward to great year ahead :thumbup: oh my diet starts Monday 2 weeks of work eating and drinking and nothing else :crazy:

Nice thread this :clap: me my aspirations :eusa-think: started a new job with a small company and i have worked my ass off trying to make a impression to get kept on even been working through the holidays for them just to get a job finished quicker even working tomorrow and new years eve if that happens that i get kept on :eusa-think: I will jet my hard working BURD :lol: :lol: my soul mate avril off too a nice hot place in summertime and get the car i desire....?????

But ALL YOU MEMBERS i hope all goes well for ya :thumbup: rcz1 hope you like the new red paint on the new rcz.... :lol: and Ron i hope you lighten up a little and get a bit more JIGGY WITH IT less of that stiff upper lip old chap stuff.... :lol:

I to have a wedding this year of which I am the best man so a stag do to organise as well. Any suggestions will be most welcome << NOVICE >> I'm also hoping to join David Lloyd, get fitter and healthier following on to get my place on the Luna Space Station being built on the moon
