Some of you may remember me, and my problem-ridden RCZ, from earlier this year. Just thought I'd check in....

I still have the car! Touch wood, nothing has gone wrong with it for a while. Having said that, I had a tyre replaced, and the guy at the garage said my clutch was "high". Feels ok to me, but I don't know. Will keep an eye on it.

I had a stroke of luck with my front bumper recently. Some of you might remember the paintwork issues I had (after I bought the car - it was second hand, 18 months old - I jet washed it, and half the paint came off the front bumper. Peugeot resprayed it twice but did a crap job on both occasions, and didn't clip the bumper on right)....well, some daft bint reversed into the front of my car at the petrol station, and it meant I required a whole new bumper! It looks better than it ever has! Very lucky - the Peugeot bodyshop job was awful - the lacquer was pealing off and it looked horrendous.

There is one small issue though - my alloy wheels seem to be rusting! I have the black solstice (i think!) wheels, with the brushed metal edges....and those edges are rusting. Didn't know that was possible. Is this a known problem, and would the warranty cover it?

As much as I wanted to get rid of the car 6 months ago, I think I'm going to keep it and run it into the ground. I do enjoy driving it.

Hope you're all well and enjoying your cars :)

Glad to hear you're having a better experience now. I don't think I'd be too worried about the clutch, assuming the tyre fitter was talking about the bite point rather than the actual pedal. The RCZ does have quite a high bite point.
