Hi guys...

First post on here and hopefully within the next 2 weeks will have ordered my new diesel 2.0 GT 163

Spec I'm after: 2013 model , white, diesel (extras required...black pack, vision pack, carbon roof, 19' sortilege matt black wheels, jbl speakers)

Just if any of you could point me in the right direction of where you have got a great deal on a pcp finance deal on yours please??

Any advice would be appreciated

Thanks

Jamie

You'll be lucky to get that spec on a used rcz really your talking fully loaded and as such these are factory orders at best you might find a ex demo or demo car at a dealers

I don't think pcp deals are available on used car's best price for a fully loaded 156 gt l found was £385 a month 10k miles/36 month's from Peugeot themselves

Only ever seen 1 car with the carbon roof and i was personally pleased i never ordered my car with it, its a carbon skin over the original roof, if you want that effect get it wrapped.
Big spec tho my guess would be a factory order?

On my PC now, sorry i kinda mis read your post You want a new rcz on a PCP deal, well the best people to deal with are PUG as i said,l was on the brink of doing a pcp deal with them last year for another rcz,it was as above price wise with a spec of opal white paint, lama leather, satnav, vision pack, upgraded alloys,156 bhp gt,that price has no doubt gone up and judging by the spec/engine you would prefer i would guess easily over £500/month 35 months/10k miles/6 months down deposit...which in my opinion is extrotion...its all the extras that hike the price up.best lease a special edition with some extras as standard like a Magnetic rcz,

Or leave out the JBL,Carbon roof, pearl paint then see what you can get it for

Have I misunderstood? I was thinking that PCP was the guarantee of the retail price, if your car is written off/stolen rather than merely getting the money off of the insurance.

PCP = Personal Contract purchase

Oh. I assume something like that would be from the seller (not that I really understand what it is). I misunderstood, assumed it to be the correct name for "Gap" insurance.

I got my PCP direct from Peugeot. I had the GT HDI aswell. For a rough estimate....

Book price circa £25.5K ..... add on interest took it to circa £27K...... I had £5600 trade-in/deposit ......

monthly I'm £319 over 36 months including GAP which was about £5 a month. Think GFV is £10.5-£11K.

Thanks for all of your replies.

I actually went to look at a white GT yesterday with all the extras I mentioned and I have to say I agree about the carbon roof. It looks quite cheap to be honest so that extra was straight out the window anyway. The vision pack is a must though. Just finishes the car off.

PVP wise -

The best quote I've had of present is on a white 2.0 GT magnetic.

JCT 600 quoted

£345 per month over 48months

10,000 miles per year

£500 deposit

I do think this is a good offer but I'm really holding out for them to throw in the service plan too which separate is £17.99 per month

What's everyone's thoughts on this offer?

Thanks Jamie

I didn't bother with the service plan - 'cos I'll only have my RCZ for 30,000 miles it'll only be serviced once ....which cost me less that £200 .... buying the plan would've cost me £650 over 3 years........

.....what's the GFV of the magnetic? The residuals have been set quite high in the past (one salesman I spoke to said Pug initially set the depreciation in the same league as TTs - pah like a Pug will hold it's money like an Audi would) think a few of us has been caught out which means we have little deposit for the next car.....

Better to pay a larger deposit and 4 years in my opinion is too long a contract to be tied too

Hi' ..with regard to the carbon roof my 2nd hand 200GT, Dolphin blue Z seems to have been fully spec'd, NOT that I knew this at the time as it was only after deposit paid that I later realised all the 'cost options' and expensive ones at that !

Frisson integral leather, Vision pack, Sat Nav, JBL, Black pack & matt black sortilige's & Carbon roof which largely seem to be your options too albeit in a fuel efficient diesel.

Had I realised all the above options fitted at the time, including the Extortionate cost of the roof, my poker faced negotiations would have been lessened as the salesman would have known that I HAD TO HAVE THAT CAR and he would have had the upper hand ,,although in reality i'm sure the dealer made the margins they wanted !

JJ_wright11 to spec all those expensive options on a new purchase will make for a happy purchaser like me when in years to come it becomes a much sought after 2nd hand car. So make the purchase and I encourage many others to do the same so that in three years time i'll be spoilt for 2nd hand choice!

.the big blue (I'll be waiting! )

Ha good thinking that. Cheeky

I am going into jct 600 on Wednesday and we will see if I come back on here with a good response for you all.

I think I will be purchasing it. Just going to try knock them down abit more and if needs be put a little more deposit in.

We will see.

The advice on the servicing though is great. I didn't think about the fact that it's every 24month's or 20000 miles.

Also the ala.co.uk I will be intouch with Regarding the gap insurance.

What's everyone paying for there gap from these guys??

Thanks

I like my carbon roof. However in fairness I also like the standard one. The only advantage of the carbon is it doesn't get scratched/marked. The standard is so easy to mark. I wouldn't suggest that is a good enough reason for paying the £1600 extra as I did.

mmmmm when I purchased my 2010 Z last year it had already got the carbon roof now not sure if this was a factory fit or the other owner had it done after but there is quite a nasty scuff mark on it when I brought it, than low & be hold somebody than thought it would be a good idea to see if this marked easily & put another load of scratches on it (not impressed) so she's going in Saturday morning & having it re-done cost £130.00 for that the guy will take the other one off & recover with new carbon, so im thinking not done by Peugeot. Oh yeah & god help anybody who tries to see if it scratches easily.
