Hello to all friends here. I'm a Chinese guy from Beijing. This is the first and perhaps only forum I found so far since I decided RCZ would be my next car.
All my ex-cars and present cars are made from Japan, Nissan-sunny, Honda-fits and right now, Toyota-vitz. I'm really bored and need to make a change. Unfortunatelly RCZ will only appear in Chinese market early next year, and I'm working now in an East African country where no sport car for sale . So I still have to wait, wait until next year! :| Luckly I'm allowed to import a duty free car when I get back. I'm looking for any dealer who can provide diplomatic offer and international delivery. Hope I can find that soon.

Hi xuebingb,

Welcome to the forum. You must be our furthest member on here so far. Good to see www.peugeotrczforum.co.uk is becoming international.

I hope you manage to find a car. Looks like you have the longest wait so far too.

Thank you guys!
It's true I have to suffer from this longest waiting, so jealous of you all!
I found a website which can accept international order for tax and duty free cars. Maybe it can help me? Not sure! First I don't know if that company is trustworthy. Second if RCZ fails selling in China as scheduled early next year, I have to abandon this dream car, because I will find it difficult to have service and repairing work for the car! Hope everthing is going well and I will have my own RCZ! :)

Yeah, we do have many Peugeot dealers and official sub-branch company in China. However RCZ has not been officially launched yet until early next year, according to the CEO of Peugeot China.
The future price of RCZ in China will definitely be much higher than what you guys paid in your country. Normally, The basic price plus Customs duty plus VAT plus Consumer's tax plus purchase tax!!! almost 50% more. That's why I want to find an European dealer and import to my country. By doing that, at least the customs duty can be exempted. Save some money for me! :)

Thank you tonyrcz. I'm interested in this news really. In China, we do have many models of different European cars, but not as many as those in European market. If people of China are attracted by a brand new model abroad, usually they have to wait for a long time, sometimes one year or even more. But for RCZ, it will come to China at the end of this year or beginning of next year. That's a good news even though it'll be almost 6 month late.

However, I'm not gonna buy it directly in my country since the car price will include heavy duty and taxes. I'm now working in Tanzania and will be back later next year. I'm looking for a European car dealer for exporting tax-free cars. I'm dreaming of the day when I drive my RCZ in Beijing. What a feeling! :)
