Hi everyone,

After taking my 207 in to get me brakes replaced I walked out having ordered a brand new RCZ Sport 1.6 156 in Nera Black. Two weeks to wait and its going to feel forever. Pictures to follow once I collect.

Thank you for the warm welcome.

Certainly a jump up from what I have been used too, a 207 1.4 Deisel. We do have a Volvo C30 R Design 1.6 (59) and a Ford Ranger 2.2 Auto (14) but these are my wife's cars and its my turn to have a nice motor.. :D My 207 was a snap purchase a few years ago as my business needs car was being returned for a commercial vehicle (corsa van) and therefore needed a car quite quickly.

Been eyeing up the RCZ for a good number of months with an eye to buy, actually liked them since release a number of years ago.

Counting the days, lucky I have a few trips down south for work to take my mind away from my new car... shame time travel doesn't exist in reality. The test drive only confirmed my suspicion that I really like these cars., although by the time I had the test drive I had already done the deal... :D

Well a few weeks later and I'm still waiting! Latest update from my dealer this past Friday was that my RCZ has been built and was in Gratz or enroute... They said a couple of weeks prior to handing over to me, I'm getting a little like a child waiting for Santa to deliver the gifts... LOL! Hopefully by next weekend I'll be driving my new RCZ, a friend has moved to Inverness so may perfect excuse for a trip up the A9 watching out for those average speed cameras! :)

A little late posting this as I've had too much fun... I wish! Been gardening and DIY whilst on leave this week. Anyway, the point of my update is I've collected my new pride and joy from the dealership on Wednesday! A lovely Nera Black RCZ Sport 156. Absolutely gorgeous car and fabulous to drive! Will post some pictures later.

Would never advise on the sport im afraid GT ONLY in my book. You are restricted on alloy design and size.Leather is also a pre requisite in these cars. Its a difficult lesson, but one that all Sport owners have to go through.Enjoy anyway.

Enjoy your Sport and take no notice of those who know nothing about the Sport or the options you can get. A RCZ is a RCZ so go and enjoy it to the full [SMILING FACE WITH OPEN MOUTH AND SMILING EYES]
