Delighted with my new RCZ. My only regret is not being able to track down an automatic (Tiptronic) version to test drive for comparison - living in London means traffic jams and a fully-manual gearbox is a bit of a pain. Indeed I only found out after committing to my manual model that the automatic IS Tiptronic - the local dealers seem to know nothing about them and don't expect to sell any. Which, given that Tiptronic is Porsche technology giving you the best of both worlds, seems very odd!

Hi shinyred and welcome to the forum. Do we assume you've gone for amber red or is that a red herring  ? Too bad your dealership didn't know their asses from their elbows and you've missed out on the automatic but here's hoping you enjoy the manual gears anyway. Don't forget we always like to see other people's RCZs smiling nicely for the camera  .

Hi shinyred. How do you first few miles in London feel? I mean, we all know from testreports how it drives when there's no traffic around, but I feel that a RCZ should even make fun waiting in a traffic jam.
Btw, I have a friend living in Blackheath (Charlton-fan, poor bastard). He always drives to work in London-centre very early to avoid traffic jams. And I believe he hasn't have to pay toll as well?
Anyway, enjoy.
