Welcome to the forum :greetings-wavingblue:

Thanks for all the information you have posted so far.

In your top post you mention you have an automatic. I did not know these had been launched yet?

How is it to drive? What is the automatic system like?

Sorry for all the questions.

Hi RCZ1

In answer to your question, we made the Auto version of RCZ available to order for our Dealer Network at the same time as the THP 200 version. This was on 2nd June 2010.

In terms of the auto system - The automatic gearbox is a new sequential six speed automatic transmission and combines well with the THP 156 engine to offer refinement and good fuel economy. It drives very smoothly and has responsive gearshifts through the gears. However, the 'sport' mode still lets you have plenty of fun on decent 'B' roads !

I'm not naturally an automatic driver (prefer manuals personally), but having used this quite a lot over the last few weeks it really grew on me as it is very, very easy to drive whilst still offering lots of fun and driveability. Overall, I would say it suits the car really well.

Finally, I noticed that you are having RCZ motif on your seats ? I'd be interested in seeing pictures of this if you don't mind ?

Thanks for replying to my questions.

My hubby has recently got a brand new Discovery automatic. Its the first time I've driven an automatic, as you say, it takes a bit of getting used to. Having driven it a few times now I rather like the automatic which got me thinking that in threee years time when I come to change my RCZ, I may get an automatic version :eusa-think:

I haven't actually got any pictures yet. Once I've got the car and all the interior is done I will post up pics.

Hi RCZ White,

Glad you enjoyed it. I'll try and see what literature I can sort out. I'm actually out of the office now for a few days so it may be a little while before i get chance to sort this.

Hi All,

A couple of quick responses to some outstanding questions / requests:-

- Different Centre Displays - I've checked through the original RCZ launch literature and have found the following:-

Small instrument panels are standard across both Sport & GT. This changes to the larger size if the car is ordered with NG4 Sat Nav. This is so that the screen can accommodate the Sat Nav directions as part of the display.

If this is not the definitive answer, please let me know and I'll do some more digging.

Is the article a Fleet World - SWOT analysis of RCZ ? If so, I have this as a PDF, although can't seem to upload it......... if it is not this, let me know and I'll get back in touch with our Fleet Dept. Although this is what sprang to mind for them when I asked them for the info.

Hi Peugeot Prod,

The car that was asked about was a 156 GT without sat nav, that had a bigger screen.

I believe the car is a standard 156 with a sports pack added and is without the sat nav but still has the bigger screen.

My 200GT has the bigger screen with no sat nav, but the sports pack comes as standard on the 200GT so it must be sat nav or sports pack related :eusa-think:.

whilst on the subject of the bigger screen - do you or anyone else know why my big screen 200GT doesn't have the gear change indicator function displayed on the screen, It's just not there. I've looked and so has the dealer so they are now looking into it:?: .

maybe you can dig a little more :!:

Hi RCZ White,

Ahh, yes, sorry have said document now. It is a magazine that our Fleet Dept. produce and you are right, it has some good RCZ related articles in there. I have the PDF of it, but it is quite a large file (2.5mb - 1.7mb when zipped) and the site does not seem to let me attach PDF files so I'm not sure how to upload this for all to see.

If anybody knows how to do this, please let me know. Alternatively, PM me your email address and I will arrange for this to be sent to you.
