Have DVLA got my CO2 Wrong ?

Morning all. . I have just had my reminder through to tax my 60 plate RCZ 156GT. It states the co2 is 155 gkm and the cost of 12 months tax equates to £180. I just happend to be looking ( as you do ) at other cars for sale and found other 156GT cars showing advertised as 149 gkm with the cost being £145 for the year. When I then look at the 200 bhp model they are showing as 155 gkm at the higher tax cost . My V5 shows the car as a 156 GT with the 155 gkm also as though they have maybe keyed it onto their system wrong . What does anyone else's V5 show for their cars 156 and 200 ? Cost of road tax too .

Thanks guys

I have the same problem with my V5. Mine is a 2.0 hdi my V5 lists as 139 g/km but peugeot brochure listed it as 135. I'm talking to peugeot uk hq at the moment about this to Clare Stacey with ref number 15767405.
Might be worthwhile getting in touch with her to let them know you are having the same issue phone number 02476 884218.

This makes no affect to me at the moment but it may in the future.

The Mk 1 omitted more co2 than the Mk 2s therefore the road tax on the Mk 1 is more expensive. I noticed this when I changed from the Mk 1 to the Mk2.
