Being gramps, means that on numerous occasions we have the fun of joining in or just observing special events where the granddaughters are involved.
This Halloween was no exception, so off we went for a few days to be spooked!
Wrapped up warm, and scary, off they went bullying the locals into parting with sweets using the well tried "trick or treat" method that now seems world wide.
There was grub and drinks (stiff ones for the grown ups) with a theme appropriate, and daughter had produced an amusing menu with spoof wicked titles.
The girls had their friends, together with their parents, so a good get together.
The next morning the family's frozen fleet were lined up, shivering in spite of the bright sunshine.
We were just to the north of Madrid close to the mountains so morning winter frosts are quite common.
Each motor was covered with a hard icy coat.
There was little consistency in the weather, so the morning of November second was warmer, and as you can see it can rain.
I can't claim credit for the water repellent finish which must have been applied when our pug paint shop gave LGN a once over.
