After working this morning, I had a relaxing afternoon waxing the RCZ R.

The wax of choice today was Waxaddict Vitreo. It has a lovely fruity scent which is always good in my book. It's a nice oily wax so just keeps spreading. One twist of the applicator coated the full roof and nearly the full drives door. Left it to cure for 5-7 minutes before buffing off with incredible ease. The gloss the wax leaves behind is incredible. Here are some photos after 2 coats were applied.

Who says you can't get a shine on white cars!

Wish I lived a bit closer Kerry, I think I might be knocking on your door early one sunny morning with a Z in need of your magic touch

Would this be any good on a black car??

Are you near Portsmouth any time soon?

Lol :)

Yes this wax or indeed any wax will be good on any colour. I used another Waxaddict wax on your car when we did it recently. They make really good, easy on easy off waxes with great sheeting properties.

No Chris, Kerry will not be travelling to Portsmouth, as she will obviously be on her way to Barnsley. Despite her saying I don't need her help, I can assure you I can't get close to her standards.

Maybe I'm just waxing lyrically

Barnsley is near fareham isn't it?

Kerry
Is it a trial size pot?
Where do you get it from?
What price should be paid?

I would like to bring the beautiful shine back again particularly after this weather.

Since my car is coming up for it's 2nd birthday I will be swapping wheels front to back again, what would be worthwhile to put on the inner part of the rims/back of the spokes to help prevent brake dust and other muck sticking to those surfaces.
As apply/getting access to these areas will be easier when off the car.

Unfortunately Waxaddict don't do sample sizes to buy. Waxaddict are an off shoot from Waxybox. Each month in a Waxybox there is a wax which is developed following user's feedback from the last box. Some of them ultimately end up becoming a full sized pot and go on general sale. At the moment you can only buy direct from Waxaddict

This Vitreo wax costs £60. They vary in prices as you will see on the website. I have a couple of sample pots of 2 different waxes from Waxaddict which you can gladly have, if you let me know your postal address.

For your wheels, Gtechniq C5 is the one to go for. It's a coating which will protect your alloys for up to 2 years. Full decontamination and Panel Wipe down is required before applying it. It can also be used as a coating on your car and black trim, giving long term protection.

There are application videos on the Gtechniq website too if that helps.

Strangely enough, Chris wants those sample pots sent to a Barnsley address :eusa-think: and he has asked me to let you know what that address is
