I have done the following today

1) pre wash with Meguairs Nxt Gen Car Wash
2) handwash with Autoglym body conditioning shampoo (and wheels)
3) dry with large microfibre towel
4) Autoglym Super resin polish
5) Apply autoglym extra gloss protection (lesve for 45 mins)
6) mr muscle glass cleaner on all glass
7) autoglym leather cleaner on interior
8) polish sills with cloth
9) clean tail pipes with astonish
10) autoglym tyre dressing
11) buff off extra gloss protection and run finest cloth over arches and other detail (ie lion etc)

im happy, shes very shiny and ive got some reflection!

very good job and your man looks chuffed after doing it for you.................. :lol: as for your materials i would say this i am not a fan autoglym tyre shine it aint that good in future try carplan tyre silk is an aerosole quick easy and looks amazing.

but great job and hope it dont rain tomorrow :thumbup:

Oh and in your first pic i can see something on the lower part of the grill, something shiny, what is it ?

I agree with Jassy about Autoglym tyre shine, i rate all of their products but not the tyre shine, i use Turtlwax tyre shine, it gives a great glossy look but without any splatter, which you DO NOT want on a white car.

PS, great choice in wheels, and splitters would look great at the front, they put a nice finish to the bottom of the spoiler, especially on Opal white. :thumbup:

yes jactac you talk of tyre wall splatter i think this has a bit to do with the tyre design itself i had yokohama advance sport on my last car and had very little tyre wall splatter using the same products that i use on the rcz,its really bad for that i really to get mudflaps all round for the winter coming

The shiny thing on the grille.,. i think that you mean the SP badge on the feline pack grill maybe?

im still very much in the infancy of my detailing... but ive nearly used all the autoglym tyre shine so will try something different next time.

one thing i have MASSIVELY realised is that this car NEEDS to be clayed. there are real bits stuck in the paintwork, and i think some proper full detail may be booed in october to prep for winter.

My dad is desperate to paint the brake calipers red. hahaha! hes 65. legend.

as for my husband, i wont let him near Dallas, he has NOT got a clue, when i said i wanted to book someone to detail it, he suggested the valet service in Asda car park. Idiot!

good for you as for the brake calipers i have tried in vain to get rcz decals for them before i paint my calipers in silver or white i think red is a no on the rcz as its not really in its character but each to there own,the existing paint on the calipers is cheap as is all new cars

Paula, I'm in love with your RCZ. That first picture is drop dead gorgeous. The decals on the side really set it off, so much so you've got me thinking....... :eusa-think:

I would also agree with the the Autoglym tyre dressing. Its looks okay to start with but within a day or so, its totally disappeared. I've tried loads of different tyre dressings and most of them do sling, which you don't need on a white car. I've gone back to one I originally started with and it doesn't sling, so good news there.

I will look out for you, your RCZ won't be hard to miss

I'm using Swissvax Pneu. As I said, it doesn't sling and you apply it with a brush. I just give it a wipe down about half an hour after I've applied it to remove any excess.
