Hi all.
I have lost some gearbox oil whilst changing a wheel bearing.
How do I top up the gearbox.
I can't see a top up plug.
Is it through the black breather on the gearbox and is it fill to spill ?
Also is it 75/80 GL5 fluid ?
Thanks

Take off the intakes & all will be revealed the fill stopper ( A black Breather plug) is under the gear change linkage which can be lifted off to gain access with 2 fingers no not the abusive ones!
Depending on the Mileage I would change it as it breaks down over time & you will notice a improvement with new oil & its 75/80 depends on what type you want I used a cold start protection oil
I'm sure I have seen your name on another website ?
