I have a THP200 and a friend of mine have the HDI163 without sport pack and when he seen the interior of my car he immediatly noticed the diference between my gear lever and your.

He asked a dealer and they told him that they have to change all system from the gearbox up to the gear lever. This service costs plus 400€ but he only want the gear lever.

Does anyone changed the gear lever from a RCZ without sport pack for the shorter gear lever?

It's a factory fit option so can't do it retrospectively. Others may know more than me but that's how I understand it.

Jactac may correct me on this but I'm pretty sure that he had the gear lever changed but this was a part of the sports pack and, looking at the options list, this appears to be the only way to do this. I don't know how extensive the changes are to the gearbox itself but I think that it's a short shift box that is fitted. However, there are others who may be able to confirm (or refute) this.

When I asked about it I was told its just a shorter stick but I specced the sports pack to be safe. Only option he has now is a hacksaw....
