Fuel Sender Unit

IHi all - revisiting after a layoff. I have an 18 month old 200THP with only 6000 km on it. Has anyone else had a problem with the sender unit in the fuel tank. At about 4000 km it suddenly started screeching - high pitched whine that gives you a headache. Had it replaced (have to remove fuel tank) but replacement only lasted a little while and it is back in having another one fitted.

ps hi to Scarlet and Bangor RCZ. I miss our little chats from 18 months ago. Hope you are both well. I am still avoiding being eaten by a great white but there have been 5 poor souls taken in the last 12 months in Western Australia and one appeared on my favourite surf beach last weekend and had a chew on a 13 year olds surfboard. That's what happens when it's decided to protect a species that's considered to be endangered.' They're big buggers too - 5 to 6 metres so there's not much left when they're finished with you!!
