Front Chrome Strips Removal

Hi all. I've got some plasti-dip spray on the way to black out the chrome strips on the front. Gave one a bit of a tug just now and it seemed to unclip fairly easily. Is it simply a case of pulling the whole thing to remove it, or is there more to it?

I know Lainey has done it, but it doesn't look like he's been on here for some time.

I didn't really want to have to tape it off and plasti dip it while it's still on the car, but I may have to. It won't budge at all when I try to get it off.

Looking good man. I've done the bottom two. Going to do the top one tomorrow.

Here's my before and after. Not sure which one I prefer now. Good thing is, the plasti dip is removable.
