Peugeot Citreon's fourth production plant in China has just been given the greenlight by Chinese authorities. It'll be worth $2.0million. Peugeot is partnering with Dong Fen Motor Corp, who is China's biggest car manufacturer, and actually owns a 14% stake in Peugeot.

PSA agreed to the 14% sell off to help with it's financial troubles earlier this year and apparently has capacity to make 750,000 cars in China each year from its existing plants. The new plant will make an additional 320,000, with a focus on cross-over and SUV type cars.

China is Peugeot's great white hope and the main market that they see will get them out of financial turmoil.

Is the RCZ on sale there?

Tis a Sad Day indeed...When they can grab a hold of a stake of any desperate in trouble= "PUG VIA THE 2008 RECESSION" European car manufacturer, especially when they can rise above "ANY CAR DESIGN Copyright theft laws in their own country", Hopefully their economy will burst like every others IN Europe and the Statous Quo WILL RETURN to Western Civilisation

Or you sold lots of items to Chinese manufacturers who intend on producing cheaper copies and selling them directly into Europe. Global commerce, it was bound to happen.

We do not believe we have sold to any manufacturers as 'a lot' really is not that much. If we have then there is good and bad manufacturing not just in China but anywhere in the world. The real items will always be far superior and you get what you pay for.
