Finally got an RCZ

Finally landed a 1.6 THP GT and loving every minute of it. First long run to Manchester last weekend now to Nottingham this weekend

Few things I want to sort as its not a brand new car - alloy wheels need dipping/refurbishing, stone chips to front need repairing (any one know the best place for this?), paint work needs some TLC from bad cleaning jobs (again, any input on this would be appreciated) and finally roof bars wrapping. Going for that triple black look in the long run.

Some of you guys have incredible looking Z's, hopefully I can join you in that club soon! :D

Welcome to the forum.

Take a browse around and you will find a detailed car care/detailing guide, see what wraps others have done and more.

That's one helluva place to start from

Part of the fun of owing a Z is making it personal, exactly how you want it it be. :auto-car:

Not sure what part of the country you are in. There's a place in Wakefield that does diamond cut alloys for £60 per wheel. I don't know of a paint shop to recommend for the stone chips, but I know it's not worth scrimping on these kind of things, you usually get what you pay for. :eusa-think:

Sorry got distracted, just had another look at your Z. It doesn't have diamond cut alloys, so you should be able to get a better price than that for refurb.
There is a place in Rotherham that does them for @ £25-£30 per corner. I think it is much easier to find standard alloy refurb shops than the diamond cut ones, as they don't need the special machinery required to re cut them.

Good luck with your project, looking forward to seeing the finished product

Thanks for that, gives me an idea how much to look to paying now. I know a guy who trains at my gym is highly recommended so I'll see what he is asking. I'm in the Midlands. Correct - not diamond cut, just want them looking clean & fresh again.

Will have to keep on looking for the stone chip dilemma then.

Cheers again!
