Hi
The paid for FAP ODB2 app no longer works fully on android without an annoying login to amazon appstore pop up.
It is annoying as was a handy app to have when out and about. Better than torque and more Peugeot and Citroen focused
Amazon have removed the appstore from android devices so you get into an endless loop.
You can still read P codes if they are present when starting and clear them too but the pop up obscures the view which is darkened and
the monitoring is kind of greyed out and you can't acces logs or the testing menu
Seems the only option is to get an amazon device like a fire tablet. Apple devices and windows also affected by amazon decision to remove app store in august 2025
Have read on a facebook group there maybe a version that does not need amazon.
The FapLite version from google works on android but it is limited
Any ideas about getting a full version that works on android? Not sure the developer kept up their work on this app.
Any alternatives that read PSA data and not just odb2. I tried editing torque pids but the header gets blocked and theres not much in the way of info out there on which pids do what so the data on the ones you can program is untrustworthy.
Suppose theres always a diagbox and PP2000 route? Though those are getting hard to find from reputable resellers.
