Hi all, I have a P0427 code and my EML light lit. I can reset it, but this comes back up when I either start the car or sit idling for more than 30 seconds.
I'm looking for a part number and the engine's location to get the number to order one.

If anyone can help with this I'd be grateful.

Thank you in advance.

Neil

Don't quote me as I have a petrol 200 but I would suspect its on the L/H/Side looking at the front of Engine possibly under the intercooler pipes its more than likely a Bosch sensor?

Unable to find on LHS of engine. My intercooler seems to be RHS of rad at the front mounted vertically.
I've looked for something like what I've seen on ebay (black box with 2 pipe connections off it) but can't seem to locate it.

Basically they are the DPF pressure sensor I haven't got any workshop info for the Diesel engine I would look to locate the DPF then trace back from that position as its usually connected to the DPF & two rubber pipes go into the pressure sensor housing in layman's terms that sensor measures how much soot has accumulated inside the more soot you have in there there bigger the pressure drop hence you get running issues

Thank you, Pedro. I've attached a screenshot of what FAP/DPF soot + Deposits are in the system. 2.7 grams of soot doesn't seem a lot nor does 1 gram of deposit.
Hence why I'm thinking the pressure is U/S and not just an elect fault. It resets as above.
When I brought the car 5 weeks ago it had the DPF EML light on. It went out on the drive back on the 130-mile trip home.
All's been fine with the car until Fri last week when I went to put fuel in and this fault P0427 came on on the way to the station.

Thank you again

Clean the Lambda sensors with EGR cleaner they may be causing the issue I have just fixed a Fiat with the same issues it was a petrol but the Oxygen sensor upstream EML code bank 1 was triggered for over fueling it was clogged up with soot
