Engine needs repair !

Hi, Last night about mile from home car felt like it was going into that "limp home mode " so turned back and noticed engine management logo on dash .Parked up and fan was at full chat and that repair warning was on screen ..Went up road this morn with fan still on so engine was cold .Felt a little bit sluggish and cleared .Stopped for paper and then noticed no fan or engine warning or management logo ...Just feel like staying local for a while ..Any thoughts

Get yourself an OBD2 reader and see what (if any) faults are shown. Any Motor factor should have one, even Argos do them !

Think my mates got one ? But if for some reason its fixed itself would a reader show a problem still lurking ready to pounce again ...
