Could be a multitude of things, possibly carbon build up on intake valves what’s the mileage? And once warm does the car run fine?
A failing HP fuel pump usually throws up a misfire on #4 cylinder.

Thanks for your reply

Kinda thought that it could be so many things, the mileage is 46,000 it is fine when it’s warn which seems strange, will get the valves checked next fingers crossed it might do the trick

Thanks again

Yes does sound like possible sticking valves due to a buildup of carbon common problem relatively easy to sort possibly in the region of £250-£400 mini specialists may be cheapest.

Looking at this post it may help and a lot cheaper,
if it was me I think I would try it before getting Peugeot involved ££££

Worth a go for maybe £20 and an oil change. ?

Check this out....
