Emulsion Paint Marks

Ok, So as yu know I've collected my lovely new RCZ today. One thing I'd noticed after test drive was there was some white makrs (bit like icining) on the door.

Dealer admitted it was probably dried emulsion paint, which explains why I couldn't remove it at the time.

Anyway fast forward to today and I'm pleased to say that the white marks have gone from the door. However on closer inspectin I think there are some diluted emulsion marks on the seats.

Personally I don't want the dealer touching it again as they are covering the leather in what I think must be a silicone based cleaner that leaves the leather with shiny patches.

Any suggestions on what to use?

How did they get emulsion on the door and in the interior in the first place?

In my experience you can't remove gloss paint from leather, the best thing you can do is try to minimize the paint as much as you can through cleaning it, and once you have got as much off as possible you can re-colour the area using a Touch Up Kit found here; http://www.furnitureclinic.co.uk/Lea...uch_Up_Kit.htm

Notoriously difficult to get paint off leather.

Are you sure it's paint / emulsion? Not flecks of polish?

Was the sales managers car. He apparently had used it to go to B&Q with paint stains on his clothes. They have removed the worst stuff from the door card. There is some very and I mean very feint marks on the drivers seat. I'll get some leather cleaner tomorrow I think.

Polish it out with leather dressing (beeswax)
