Hi Chatty, I have a 200 Z myself but I've not any any problems as yet, car is 14 months old with 11k on the clock. If I remember correctly from other posts I'm lead to believe that the temp sensor is/was an offender. I'm sure if you get in touch with your dealer they'll sort it out under warranty. Keep us posted.

Water can get into the boot lid mechanism, it's a known fault that Peugeot have recognised. The whole of rear bumper has to come off to change the boot lid switch and make it water tight.
If this occurs it can play havoc with the parking sensors, central locking goes bonkers, indicators would go into disco mode without using the stalk, even my radio had a life of it's own, switching on and off.

The car would start fine, but it wasn't very pleasant driving it as the boot would keep popping open, even at high speed

Electrics are a pain if they go wrong, it took ages for my dealer to pin point the fault.
Because my faults were intermittent my dealer thought it was my imagination, until I took it over to them just after it had rained, it was mad, the car had a life of it's own.
I later learned that Peugeot had found a fault with the seal on some of the Z's boot switch's.

I would suggest that if anyone's Z plays up electrically, it might be worth having the boot switch checked out, especially if you notice issues a few days after rain or washing. :eusa-think:
