Due for a service ?

I've just received an email from Peugeot saying that my RCZ is now due for a "routine service" ?

It has only done 1025 miles and was checked out on the 17/06/2011 at 650 miles when it went in for it's "free check up".

Does this free check up actualy go on the Peugeot servicing system ?

I rang the dealers and they said just ignore anything that Peugeot send you !!

Bit worrying if Peugeot send me another email saying that the wheels may fall.

Hi Jactac,

I have been in the same situation, whereby I received a letter recently from Peugeot stating that my Z was due a service. I called them to enquire why I have been notified, as the car is only 1 year old, and my mileage is only 2400. The Service book says 2 years or 20000miles.
The Service dept at my local dealership, said to ignore the letter as they agree with me that the Service books states otherwise.
Still doesnt give me much confidence though as to what is expected of me as a customer. I dont want to spend for serviicing that is yet not necessary. Peuugeot seem to be as bad as M-Benz when contradiction of information is concerned !
Regards and best wishes.

Hi,
well since i posted this thread i've now had a second email from Peugeot asking me which dealer said that i should ignore the correspondence from Peugeot.

It is all a bit of a nuisance and a worry that the dealerships and Peugeot dont seem to be reading from the same page.

K. Feel honoured. I picked up my brand new RCZ and haven't even been told, What if any breakdown cover is in place!? They didn't even give me contact details for their own servicing or sales departments. I do not know when or by whom it is to be next checked. So I won't be ignoring anything that I receive from Peugeot as it'll be the only information that I have. I must say that of all the new cars that I have taken delivery of, this one was the worst handover by far. Amazing as it is the most expensive car that I've owned by far. None of my issues with the media system experienced on my old RCZ were answered. So they follow me onto my newest RCZ. Hey Ho it is only a Peugeot

I've had my RCZ just under a year and have just received a service reminder. I call the local Peugeot dealership which told me that they do an interim 10,000/1 year service.... It was optional if I wanted to do it, as the service book requires a 20,000/2 year.

As my RCZ has done 10k and she's been superb the last year, she deserves a treat! :auto-car:
