Hi all, I was thinking of fitting some LED DRL light strips to the headlights and update the look, but was a bit hesitant to pull the headlight apart and mess about so I went looking for some headlights already customized and found these on Aliexpress.
Any thoughts on these? I think they cost is a bit silly, considering I can get brand new headlight clusters for less than $150. But also, even IF I paid the ridiculous price they are charging, I have serious concerns about the quality of the LED equipment they are putting in, would I even get a year or two out of it until something stops working?
Not to mention, cars with LED DRL from factory, are designed in such a way that the light is very directional but these ones in the example below, you can see how much light is bleeding into the surrounds, instead of being more focused forward.
So, if I decide to make something like this myself, I'd want to get LED DRL strips that are high quality and don't throw light in all directions....does anyone have any brands or sites where you can buy something like that?
