I would like to keep & work on our rcz in our garage.

Unfortunately our 1960's garage has a narrow up & over door. If the car could be driven with the door mirrors parked (folded in), it would clear the doorway, but with the mirrors in the open position it fowls the door frame by 10cm.

Is there a simple way to override the auto opening of the mirrors when starting the car.

Yes on the switch that alters the position of your mirrors to the left and the right put it in the middle position where you would leave it and tilt it backwards and the mirrors will fold down and if you press again will open out..
Hope this helps you out
