Having removed my n/s/r wheel to fit my space saver to show you I noticed the rear tow eye was very rusty.

It looks ten years old not two weeks

I will look to get this replaced on my first service due in 400miles time.

Is it bolted on, I'm wondering if it's a temp bracket used for shipping and should be removed at the PDI, it must have been fitted after the painting stage as it would have been E coated which will not rust.
