Diesel MPG & running in??

Does anyone have any real world mpg figures for the diesel?

Also, any running in procedures recommended?

my 20 mile run on winding roads averaged 52mpg. didnt do any special running in. had interim service at 10,000 (oil and filter change)

I generally get around 48mpg (averaged over 10,000 miles), which is a mixture of town (about 1/3) and dual carriageway/motorway (2/3)
I bought a demonstrator so no idea on running in

I'm up at about 47-48mpg with a daily commute of ~35 miles, half of which is spent in queueing traffic. Only covered 3000 miles but getting gradually better. It started off around 42mpg. I'm hoping to get around 50mpg ideally.
