Hi folks,Now there are certain parts of any car that involve a whole lot more of elbow grease when detailing, these are normally awkward part's of the car.
The parts l hate detailing are the doors and sills, the roof is a pain in the ass as well barring the rcz as it's so small it's a breeze to do but not on my focus anyhow to cut a long story short "As l always say to Avril" ye know what some women are like......
l decided to use the free of charge Diamond Brite Stage 1 and Stage 2 applications formula's l got with my car on the door's and sills thinking if l use this :eusa-think: then there's no need to do them again for a wee while ie "should see me through the winter"
Now I applied stage 1 with a normal microfibre cloth in straight lines as the bottles say's.
leave to dry then applied stage 2 on top of stage 1 in straight lines, leave to dry for 20 minutes, then buff off,of which i did, with just 3 microfibre cloth's altogether,l then topped it of with a finishing Towel.
The result's where stunning, the paint is the smoothest ever l have felt on any of my car's,the reflection's speak for themselve's
It's hard work though and time consuming "short term" long term it will save me doing the door's/sill's for a long time.
The Stuff smell's horrendous  Really it does... here is a few photo's of the door's,l also did the front wing's and bonnet later as l was so impressed with the result's  The other 2 third's of the car will get done tomorrow :eusa-think:
