Decisions, Decisions..... part 1

Hello all,

I’ve been lurking around on here in the background for a while and I guess now is the time to step forward in to the light! I’ve been a member on a few forum sites in the past and this is by far the most comprehensive and friendly one I’ve viewed (so please don’t start being mean to me now!)

I am currently on the cusp of ordering a brand new RCZ GT. The information and comments on here have been priceless in regard to my decision making on certain items for my order criteria, however, there are a few outstanding choices to make before I take the plunge and I’m hoping some of you will be able to sway me one way or the other.

My first decision is regarding the Vision Package.....: With all the excellent lighting upgrades available from RCZ Performance and the like, in peoples opinion, is this package actually worth opting for (at £680) or not and just upgrading all the bulbs?

Ill post my other quandaries requiring assistance to follow.....

Thanks!

Hello and welcome into the light, come fourth and rejoice ;)
I'd just like to say, the vision pack must be the best upgrade and money spent on any car, the bulbs that are for sale from rczperformance only add to the already great look of the Xeon's ;)

My last 4 cars have had them, would never consider going back to normal bulbs, once you've had them there's no turning back ;)

Yup...wish I'd gone for the vision pack!!! It's an option that I think is a must...though I really think xenons should be standard on a car like the RCZ!!

The only thing I regret about my car (as a nearly new) was not having the vision pack as it was something I would have definitely paid the extra for had I bought brand new!

So then S_KC, I do believe that you have a resounding yes, for the vision pack. I changed my original RCZ after approx 4months because it did not have the vision pack! I now do  Apart from the better lights, you get headlamp washer jets, headlamps that turn as the steering wheel turns, plus tyre pressure sensors. So plenty of reasons for investing in this option. I could not and would not be without them.

Next decision is..................??????????????????????????????

This is a great thread I haven’t got the vision pack I purchased a nearly new well 2011 plate GT but it only had 7k miles on so really lucky on that front now I have put the LED DRL and LED stop and tail and as I don’t have the  vision pack I have gone for 5000K HID kit high and Low beam, now I haven’t had Xenon before so on that front I can’t say yes or know I have always upgraded from std bulbs. But had I seen all the posts I would have waited to get a RCZ with the vision pack. We live and learn. :brickwall:

Vision Pack = YES

And then as you indicated, and others too, you can upgrade those along with other bulbs.

Looking forward to your orders;)

well thank you rizz, it looked good on my old motor too ;)

Conceded Starky. Saw an S5 sportback yesterday. That's a nice car but can't help think it looks a bit too much like a limo. That said...I may investigate it for my "sensible" family car when the time comes.
