I know I've hardly had that long to wait, 7 weeks, 4 days and lost count of the minutes  but delivery has finally arrived. I'm picking up my sweet chariot this afternoon and not surprisingly I simply can't concentrate on doing ANYTHING at my gainful employment  . Will post pics when I get a chance and am not scooting around in my baby

Hi ya BangorRCZ

I wonder if you are sitting in your RCZ at this very minute! I'm risking life and limb to post during work hours but hey it's a Friday and it's a special occasion for you - h*ll even I'm excited for you :D

I guess we won't hear from you until you can tear your bahookie (Scottish for b*m!!) of those gorgeous RCZ comfy seats! Piccies soon please

Thanks to everyone who responded. I can tell you, this is SOME car! I've had a few new cars in my years of driving but this takes the biscuit. :D I got to clock up about 20 miles after taking delivery and loved every one of them, from the sharp acceleration in second to the brisk braking and sure cornering. I'm in love with it already. I even don't mind the gear change indicator ;) . I've started ploughing my way through the manual to familiarise myself with the many options and that's another surprise...this is one big computer really! I got my dealer to configure the bluetooth for me with my BlackBerry and it accepted it okay but on the way home my phone rang and it didn't work through the car! Anyone know what went wrong? :eusa-think:

One disappointment was that the part for the quad exhaust didn't work out. I gave them the correct part number but it seemed to not fit. The dealers even contacted Southgate but in the end I opted not to have it and saved a huge bill anyway. I hadn't realised the total would be around £660 and for a trim that my dealers said would negate the warranty anyway it wasn't worth it. :(

I even got the Nokia so now I have 3 phones! I'll probably sell it as I already have satnav and am more than happy with my BlackBerry.

It's been raining since I picked the car up so only two grey photos which I'll post in the gallery and that'll have to do until the weather improves.

To all still waiting, it really is the bee's knees and well worth the patience required.

Hi BangorRCZ

When everyone says, "its worth the wait - you'll love it", you think, yeah okay. But when you do ACTUALLY take delivery, THAT is when you are really blown away by the RCZ. It really is a great car, as you are now finding out. :D

Welcome to the RCZ Owners Club

Shame about the quad exhausts and interesting to hear that it would negate the warranty.

Did the Blackberry show on the display as still being connected via bluetooth?

Happy motoring - long may you enjoy

Hi K, yes, the symbol for the phone was still in the corner and I've checked my phone and the bluetooth is functioning. I have to say it stumped me as to why my phone (in my bag behind the driver's seat, of course!!!) was chiming away and nothing was happening. My passenger had to fish my bag out and find my phone and then of course I had to break the law by answering it as I thought it might have been important!

Hi Bangor

I had problems with blackberry. There is a setting on the phone to automatically pair with car. Otherwise it will constantly ask you on the phone.

Hi tytyk,

thanks. I'll have another look although I thought it had all set up okay.
