Considering getting a RCZ 2.0HDI GT

Hi am considering changing to a 2010/11 RCZ 2.0Hdi Gt and just after a bit of advice/info.

Im 6ft 3 so drivers seat is almost fully back meaning not even a ampute dwarf is sitting behind me. Had a brief test drive today but salesman had to come with us. Son who's 11 sat behind me squashed up zero leg room and I put seat as far forward as I could and felt like rear view mirror in face and knees catching steering wheel. Daughter who's 6 was in her booster seat, and salesman in passenger seat. I was in a uncomfy seating position so didnt get a good feel of the car, although did find it slide around a bit even at low speeds and bit skittish when cornering?? Will have to have another test drive next week with seat right back.

Usually it will just be me and the kids alternate weekends and if nights out and im driving then me plus 2 "adults" one whos a short :greetings-wavingblue: rse about 5ft 6. Dont really buy a car to ferry mates about so guess thats not too much of an issue if dont fit in.

What was wondering is obviously seat behind me if obsolete. If daughter in back is there a recommended high backed or booster seat with isofix? If no isofix any recommended seats that dont slide around? Does the rear seat belt tend to hold them pretty upright as in VW Scirocco she has a tendency to fall asleep and flop forward.

On standard stereo with no satnav can you connect a ipod classic and how do you navigate albums/artists? is it fully integrated displaying menus, album, track name etc or more aux input and navigate through the ipod menu itself? If needs upgrading whats required/cost?

Any common faults to bear in mind or look out for? Have read although boot spacious, when raining all water runs of into the boot, anyone come up with a fix? Wont use boot that much unless carrying a taller mate

Any advice/info appreciated

My 4 year old just has a booster seat in the back and he doesn't move around much, he flops forward too when asleep, but he seems to do that in every car so I don't think it's just an RCZ. Im not quite as tall as you at around 6ft but I can still get 3 adults in my car, with a shorter one behind me. Obviously for long journeys it's not ideal but normally it's just 2 adults in my car with my boy in the back. I'm lucky that my dealer has something called "occasions" as I have a service plan with them. This means when I need a bigger car or even a van for a weekend they lend me one for free

Well done.
You've gone for the best colour and the best engine.

Have fun.

Easy fix for this one.
What I used to do was open the boot to the halfway point, the rain runs off and then you let go of the boot so that it fully opens.
Best thing is that it costs £0 and you don't have to declare it to your Insurance Company.

Thanks for the top tip. Allow me to repay the favour. If you ever find yourself with chess pieces but no chessboard use several slices of batternburg cake.

No, yours is Rubbish :eusa-think:
I won't be able to differentiate between the Pawns and say, the Knight or the Bishop.
Clearly, you haven't thought yours through :text-blondmoment:

My Tip was really useful and can be put in to practice with ease.
