Quick question,
I’ve a 2011 156 petrol and after a little research appears I have chewbacca under my bonnet when cold. I’ve spoken to a decent garage that’s recently done the chain on my car. They’ve suggested it’s most likely the guide tube as they’re known to be eaten up by the transmission. My question is, is there an upgrade available or does anyone know why these parts fail. I was wondering if there’s not an upgradable part and the failure point was known if an upgraded part could be machined by a decent machine shop?
